Hello! My name is Jessica Kirschner and I am the high school counselor at Loyola Catholic School!
I grew up in North Mankato, MN and attended Mankato Area Catholic Schools from kindergarten through senior year. I am a proud Loyola grad! While in college I enjoyed traveling to many different parts of the world. I studied abroad in Greece and Italy for January term and also spent a semester in Beibei, China.
After graduating in 2003 with my BA in Psychology, I moved back to the Mankato area. In 2004 I started working at Loyola in the Guidance Office. This encouraged me to go back to school to receive my Masters in K-12 School Counseling. I graduated from MSU, Mankato in 2008 and received my counselor license which led me to my current position at Loyola as the high school counselor.
I currently live in North Mankato with my husband, Nathan, our two children, Collin and Charlotte, and our boxer, Jax. We enjoy spending summers at our cabin on Gull Lake and watching the Twins. We also like to attend MSU men’s hockey games. I also love coaching and watching fastpitch softball. I have been the assistant softball coach at Loyola since 2001.
Attended: College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN
