I am a graduate of Loyola High School and have been teaching high school art here since 2000. I teach a variety of art classes including ceramics, painting, drawing, photography, and video editing. Before coming to Loyola I taught middle school art at Blue Earth Area Schools. After BEA I spent a year at United South Central teaching high school art.
In addition to teaching art, I am also the head Boys and Girls Cross Country coach. In the spring I am the head Boys and Girls Track & Field coach.
My wife Theresa and I have two children, Justine and Alyssa. Justine graduated from Loyola in 2014 and attends Dakota State University. Alyssa is currently a Loyola student. When I am not teaching or coaching I enjoy going out for a run, taking pictures or going camping with my family.
Over the past few years I have had the opportunity to travel abroad with my students. I have traveled to Spain, France, Italy, Ireland, Wales, England, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and Greece. Of course I did get some great photos while traveling!
