I have been teaching a Loyola since 1979. I chose to teach at Loyola because I believe it is important to pass on our faith and values to the next generation. Over the years I have taught all of the academic subjects in fifth grade and am currently teaching fifth and sixth grade social studies and religion.

I love learning. One of my favorite pastimes is reading, and I have a passion for books. I also spend my time seeking out and participating in many local and national teacher workshops in science and history through organizations such as the National Endowment for the Humanities, Colonial Williamsburg, and the Minnesota History Center. Crafting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends are among my other interests. In addition to teaching at Loyola, I work as a custom framer at Hobby Lobby.
