I am the 5-12 Band Director at Loyola and have been teaching here since 2011. Before that, I filled temporary positions in Detroit Lakes, Redwood Falls, and Montgomery-Lonsdale. I love teaching band and working with students from the first time they pick up an instrument all the way to graduation. I am excited to get to teach in a school where I can not only share my passion for music and students but also openly share my faith! During the summer months, I am the assistant director of the Mankato 77 Lancers, helping to give students opportunities to play and perform year-round and compete with an award-winning group. On a personal note, I live in Mankato with my wife Michelle, son Liam, daughter Hannah and pets Raven, Loki, and Emmett. Outside of school, I enjoy playing with Minnesota River Valley Wind Ensemble, playing cards and board games as well as trying to keep up with the ever-changing world of technology.
