My name is Mrs. Cliff and I teach Kindergarten at Loyola Catholic School.  I have been teaching Kindergarten since 1970!  Wow! That’s a long time!  I attended LeSueur High School and graduated in 1966.  From there I attended the University of Minnesota and also the College of St. Benedict where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1970. I have loved teaching kindergarten because these children keep my mind and my heart young!

I was born in San Francisco, California and moved to Dayton, Washington.  My father worked for the Green Giant Company and we moved to Le Sueur, Minnesota when I was in 6th grade.  Ever since I can remember, I always wanted to be a teacher!  It has been such a rewarding career for me.  Little children bring so much joy to your heart each day!  I've been passionate about what I do and I hope that I instill that passion with the children I work with each day!
I believe that every day should be a happy day for students.  I use a lot of positive affirmations with my students.  I believe that if you think you can do something, you can!  I want my students to feel good about themselves and enjoy learning every day! I try to keep my attitude and my enthusiasm very high for these little children because they deserve it!  Over the years I feel that I have become a better teacher because I have added more "heart" into my teaching along with the knowledge part of it all.  Children need to know that they are loved and cared for in today's world.
