Growing up in Savage, MN I attended St. John the Baptist Catholic School through the eighth grade. I graduated from Burnsville High School and started college at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
After spending 6 months in Australia and tutoring a little girl there, I decided to become a teacher. Since I love traveling, I completed my student teaching in the American School of Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, Spain.
Second grade at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School is where I started my teaching career in 1993. There is something about the Catholic school environment that brings me peace and I am thrilled to be a part of this community again.
I enjoy learning and continually take courses to further my education.
I also worked as a Director of Faith Formation and continue to work as Coordinator for Knowledge Bowl in Region 9.
