Loyola Catholic Preschool

I was born in St. Paul, MN but my family moved shortly after I was born to North Mankato. I am an alumni of Loyola, graduating in 1987. I lived in St. Paul while attending St. Thomas. I moved to Rochester where I found my calling to teach the youngest students while working at a daycare. A year later I moved back to North Mankato to teach at Head Start.

I meet and married Jim Zwaschka and started a family. I was blessed to be able to stay at home with Olivia and Isabel until 2002 when I began teaching Preschool at Loyola. The education I received as a student at Loyola established my faith and encouraged me to always be a learner. I believe the Catholic education that students receive from Preschool through twelfth grade strengthens their faith and love for learning. One of the best parts of Loyola is seeing my preschoolers express how great God is in their lives. It shows through their laughter, smiles and excitement to learn.
