Dr. Pence

Dr. David Pence is a graduate of Benilde High School (1964), Nazareth Hall Seminary (AA Theology-1966), University of Minnesota (BA Physiology 1980), Uof Minn. Medical School (1984), Radiation Oncology Residency (1988), Teacher Licensing in Earth and Space Sciences and Life Science (Minnesota State University at Mankato-2008), Masters in Education (MSU Mankato 2010). He has practiced Radiation Oncology(treating cancer with radiation) for 25 years and continues working as a doctor during the summers in St Cloud and Alexandria. He also teaches Science and English Grammar to the seminarians at San Jose del Rio Minor Seminary. His Masters Thesis in education was a comparative history of  teaching the sciences and tactile disciplines in American High schools.  Dr Pence’s education goal is to integrate the tactile disciplines(shop, agricultural education, and home economics ) with the sciences and a religious view of Nature, History, and Man. He is married with 8 children and is a parishoner of St Peter and Paul parish in Mankato.
