 Parents,

Today two members of the Minnesota Drug Task Force (MDTF) spoke with students about drug usage and some of the things happening in the Mankato area recently.  Their presentation included common drugs found in the area and the harmful effects on users and their families.

We encourage you to please speak with your student about drugs and today’s presentation.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Loyola High School at 388-2997 to speak with me or our Guidance Counselor, Jessica Kirschner.

If you would like to know more about the MDTF, they have a website with information at: http://www.blueearthcountymn.gov/index.aspx?NID=311 , email at: mrvdtf@blueearthcountymn.gov or call at 304-4790.

2014-2015 Tuition Information

March 11th, 2014 by loyola
Loyola Parents,

In the coming weeks we will host Kindergarten Round-Up and Enrollment Night. These events officially launch preparation for the 2014/2015 school year.  When we have the State of the School address later this Spring (we are working on finding a date), the administrative team will share the wonderful news about the many successes we have enjoyed this year and the great things ahead for Loyola.  It is a great time to be part of Loyola!

As we plan for the next school year we have determined there will be a small increase in tuition.  For the intermediate and high schools, half of the increase will pay for the retreats and field trips that you historically have paid for separately throughout the year.  Starting next year that will be rolled in to tuition making for fewer expenses during the year.  For students throughout the system the remaining increase will help us cover our operational expenses which have increased.  Such increases are inevitable regardless of the highly conservative financial philosophy of the school.

Tuition for 2014 – 2015

Block Aligned Non-Aligned & International Students
K-5 $ 3,780 $ 4,380
6-8 $ 4,475 $ 5,175
9-10 $ 5,880 $ 6,680
11-12  $ 6,275 $ 7,075

For the primary school students this is an increase of $1 a day.  For the remainder of our students they will see an increase between $2.50 to $3.33 a day.

We look forward to seeing you at Kindergarten Round-Up, Enrollment Night and The State of School so we can share more exciting updates and success stories.

Sincerely,

Father Robert Schneider
President/Chaplain
